Dainichi Nyorai (大日如来) HAKU Giclee pop'n Buddha from Isumu. Isumu's focus is to recreate in our modern lives the traditional Buddhist statues which the Japanese culture has cherished so much. Click here to learn more about Isumu

This elegant artwork is based on the work of Gaku Nakagawa, an illustrator active both in Japan and internationally. While serving as chief priest of the Jishuzan Zuisenji temple of the Western Pure Land sect of Zen Buddhism, he was in charge of illustrations for such projects as the front cover and interior illustrations for the internationally-acclaimed magazine "Monocle," and for the well-known picture book "A Speech by the Poorest President in the World," which was based on a speech from Uruguay’s former-president Jose Mujica, "the world's humblest head of state."

For this product, high-quality giclee digital art-printing technology is used in combination with a special printing-method called Scodix. In addition to featuring the high-quality texture giclee art prints are known for, gold leaf and clear resin are beautifully applied, creating a 3D surface similar to that of an engraving; the gold and silver leaf provide a luster that cannot be replicated by standard methods. Thanks to the silver profile-metal framing in the outer area bordering the image, the depth and brilliance of the work will be put on full display in your room.
