宗次 Yanagiba Bochō/Hochō Cooking Knife (柳刃包丁) 240mm Japanese Style Hochō Cooking Knife（和包丁） from Morihei. Click here to learn more. Made in Japan.

The name Yanagiba Bochō comes from the fact that the narrow, long blade of the knife looks like the leaf of a willow (yanagi). It is also called Sashimi Bochō as it is appropriate for making sashimi. Because the blade is long, you can cut the sashimi just by pulling the blade. The surface of the cut will be beautifully, hence resulting in remarkably delicious sashimi.
